OK I’m going to try something a little different with my attempt to introduce myself as the author of this blog that is destined to be about a little bit of almost everything…

My name is Leah Rae Skidmore. I was born on October 6th, 1987. The sun was in Libra, and the moon was doing the full Pieces/Aries split thing it seems to do every 19 years on my birthday, no joke. I know that might not mean much to some, but libra/pieces means peace and equality; Libra/Aries sounds destined to be as “bi-polar” as a switch between night and day. Lucky for me… well, lucky for you all actually… I was forcibly “born”, by c-section at 1 AM when the moon was still in Pieces.

Add in my Cancer rising and my big three, make me look like a pushover, and therefore a total target for assholes to take advantage of. Luckily most assholes don’t give a fuck about the stars… they still seemed to find me though, or maybe I just used to be drawn to them, cause we are said to stick with what we know. ‘Cause I was bred by a mean girl and a jock.

Anyway, I derailed as always… stars aside, the bottom line is I am a being that naturally comes in peace. And the reason I can be so peaceful, even when I disagree with someone, is because I can see things from multiple points of view at one time. When I don’t remain peaceful, it’s because I also live with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (CPTSD) because I can see how all of the events in my life are connected, and also I can see stark similarities in parts of my story with parts of other people’s. It pulls up memories I live with in my head. If people want to call that a mental illness, then fuck you for putting them there…. ok well, not all of you of course, not that I know if anyone is ever going to read this cause as I said in the beginning, I feel as invisible as Casper the friendly ghost.
