There are so many clues in that code of a statement. A pen writes and a sword fights…. words over weapons. A “pen” can also be reference to a structure that houses animals…. so it could be talking about how safety and containment is better than living free in the animal kingdom where it’s life or death all time. The safety is better than the fight for your life.

Another way it can be translated, at least to me, requires a bit more ancient knowledge than to two logical and more obvious explanations. And honestly the creators of this story, are a couple of assholes trying to make the game impossible for everyone, cause “only the strongest survive.”

Also you might need to be part immature teenage boy for this one to hit… one definition of pen is something to put stuff in, and the etymology of vagina is “sword sheath”…. And penises are also referred to as swords. So it could be a more Shakespearean way of saying “girls rule and boys drool.”

Also men are from Mars, women are from Venus… Mars is war, and therefore the “fight” of the nervous system, and Venus is peace and love, aka “flight.” Humans, as omnivores, are a hybrid of both.
